As I’m late for yesterday’s Photo 101 prompt, I’ve decided to combine both today’s and yesterday’s themes into a single post.
The first one: Architecture and monochrome
This is a photograph of a Hindu temple which I turned to B/W and the result was equally good. Those damn power lines though!
And for today’s theme: Moment and motion
Just something I shot this Monday in Thrissur. A man frantically running to catch a departing train.
That is so cool!

Power lines actually focus sight to the top

Did they? That’s good then 🙂 I almost thought of photoshopping them out.

Never worry about power lines, they form part of our modern structures and now we should treat the as if they are just trees, same with power poles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I read that on the internet somewhere so it must be right..

Ha! True that. There are power poles and cables everywhere these days, they are part of the “accepted” background. Especially in cities, where it’s almost impossible to get an unadulterated shot. Now I have to think of incorporating them cleverly into my photos!!!

Hmmm, it’s interesting how I didn’t find them interesting at all! 😛 Again a lesson that, when two people see a photo, they see two different photos.

I see you are busy with the Photo 101.
So, here I would like to say something:
Nature shows once as it is,
but You and the Camera show nature in different ways, angels, colors, isn’t ?
All the best in clicking.

Hello Shiva ji! Yes, you are right. Nature is the same, but how we see and capture it varies from person to person. That is why photography is so interesting, you see something through someone else’s eyes 🙂
