In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Vivid.”
Vivid. Oh, boy!
The people who run this place do know how to attract customers I suppose (in most cases, unsuspecting tourists).
This was taken in the sleepy sea-side tourist town called Mahabalipuram and it’s my go-to weekend destination to chill-off. The town’s famous for rock sculptures and other antique-ware. Lots of little shops dot the main roads selling stuff like rock figurines and carpets, much like this one.
Have a happy weekend, folks!
We don’t have many art galleries where I live. Can you imagine? No artsy stuff in Lahore! And it’s supposed to be the historical hub of the country -_- I envy you 😦

Well that’s strange indeed! Maybe people have lost interest in such stuff over time? I hear great things about Pakistani music, though!

Hi, I’m a classmate in Photo 101. I mentioned checking out your post for the Weekly Photo Challenge this week. It reminds me of the carpet salesman by Basilica Cistern in Istanbul. Speaking of Istanbul, my Photo Challenge response is a picture from the beautiful city. I hope you stop by and check it out. https://travelherethereeverywhere.wordpress.com/2015/06/05/photo-challenge-a-vivid-image-of-istanbuls-new-mosque-at-night/
